Welcome to Read Guest House, Whitehaven, our homely bed and breakfast is in the centre of town, close to Whitehaven's attractions, The Rum Story, The Beacon and the historic harbour. A historic building itself, Read Guest House has been run by Jacky & Ann Walker for the last forty five years.

Read Guest House has twelve bedrooms and two en-suites, one en-suite has disabled access, the family room sleeps four. Flat screen TV's, coffee and tea making facilities are in every room and the guest house has good WiFi throughout. Beside the breakfast room and lounge, (with a large TV) is a room with a pool table for guests to use.

The guest house also offers secure storage facilities for bikes and motorbikes by arrangement.

A Cumbrian hearty breakfast is served from 6am to 9.30am, continental, dietary and vegetarian options are available on request. Rates are from £35 per person per night.
